Language Arts: We will study the short sound of a and the consonants s, m, h.
Writing: We are practicing writing sentences using an uppercase letter to start a sentence and a period to end the sentence.

Spelling Test is Friday, 9/12 over List #3.
Social Studies: Ask your child to name the 4 major oceans and sing to you the song "Big Blue Ocean". We will spend the next 2 weeks discussing oceans, continents, and maps.
